Ground Floor Plan
This project was conceived to capture the artistic essence of a young couple, reflecting their creative spirit within their repurposed loft. With this design, I sought to reverse the transformation of a decaying urban jungle back to the fields of citrus trees and grapevines that once blanketed the la basin. The design incorporates elements like distressed iron, polished concrete, and Norwegian rose marble, all harmonizing within a color palette that blends deep plum, zesty yellow, hues of clementine, with touches of sky blue and leafy greens. This concept is both playful and practical, catering to the needs of these urban dwellers while paying homage to the rich history of Los Angeles’ colorful and bountiful past.
