Wallis House

Located in the heart of Hollywood, Aviva’s Wallis House is a 42-bed residence for transitional aged women (18-24 years old) and their children experiencing homelessness. Wallis House provides young women and their children a place to call home while giving them skills and support to live an independent future. Wallis House offers shelter, clothing, meals, therapeutic services, job readiness skills and mental health services. It is a place that lifts up young women and their families. As a volunteer, I provided design services to Aviva to inspire local philanthropic donors to give towards the project through the use of rendered concepts. Incorporating the color pallet of the Hollywood Hills during a glorious morning sunrise, I sought to give these women and their children optimism and a sense of belonging through the comforting lens of interior design. https://aviva.org/wallis-house-opens-for-young-women-their-children/
